Stacy is owner of Mauli‘Ola Nutrition Consultants, a Hawai’i based organization dedicated to providing services of Registered Dietitian Nutritionist professionals to community individuals and organizations to promote preventive medicine, especially sustainable nutrition and physical movement initiatives, that are community lead, and provide Pacific Island research in the field of prenatal care, diabetes, metabolic syndrome, and obesity prevention.
While living on the Big Island of Hawai’i for 23 years, Stacy has been employed as a Nutrition Provider at the largest federally qualified healthcare organization Hawaiʻi Island Community Health Center(HICHC) and the Native Hawaiian Healthcare system Hui Mālama Ola Nā ʻŌiwi (HMONO). Stacy taught at the University of Hawai’i at Hilo School of Nursing, and Hawai’i Community College Culinary Arts for ten (10) years. Stacyʻs philosophy in her professional work is “Be active and eat a variety of foods in moderation”.
Stacy is a wife, a mother, a Hawaiian Outrigger canoe and stand-up paddler, a life-long student of perpetuating ‘Poly-n-Asian’ culture and lifestyle and is here to serve others for Ke Akua’s purpose. She volunteers as President of the Hawaiʻi Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics (HAND), Chief Volunteer Office of the Island of Hawaiʻi YMCA, Vice President of Hawaiʻi Coaching, Governor appointed board member for Hawaii County Subarea Health Planning Council, and Nutrition Consultant for Team Lokahi Traditional Health & Wellness.
